MeriPehchaan (NSSO) is a user authentication service in which a single set of credentials provides access to multiple online applications or services. The platform offers various benefits such as strengthening password policy, reducing the risk of a data breach, centralized access control, reduced IT workloads, and, most importantly, ease of doing business. Also, it reduces authentication infrastructure and identity management complexity, subsequently decreasing the cost while increasing security.

It is an extensive collaboration of the three mainstream Single Sign-On (SSO) platforms- Jan Parichay, e-Pramaan, and DigiLocker. MeriPehchaan authenticates the user based on multiple authentication parameters like username, mobile number, Aadhaar, PAN, etc.
